Finally Hitting The Widget Through The Paper

I don't have much time today, but I’m going to try to get the click to go through to the button on the widget by creating a Hit Result manually and using Set Custom Hit Result on the Widget Interaction component.

It was pretty easy simulating the hit on the widget once I made the blueprint function to translate the 2D widget surface coordinates to world coordinates. The hover events and clicks now go through successfully.
